About the event
Globally millions of people are at risk of under-nourishment due to extreme climate events that threaten local food production. There is also an increasing epidemic of obesity and diet-related illnesses that coincides with the rise of the Western-style diets. Speakers discuss why it is essential to put healthy diets at the centre of the agrifood system reform that responds to the climate emergency.
