About the event
The high-level event will present two new flagship projects in Brazil: the Sertão Vivo (also known as Planting Climate Resilience in Rural Communities of Northeast – PCRP) and the Dom Helder Camara Phase III (also known as Climate Resilience, Food Nutrition and Security in the Northeast Semiarid of Brazil- PDHC III). The PCRP is based on a unique partnership between IFAD, the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) and the Green Climate Fund (GCF) with four states of Northeast Brazil. It was recently signed in the presence of President Lula da Silva. The PDHC III, to be approved in 2024, takes to scale IFAD’s successful collaboration with the Ministry of Agrarian Development (MDA) to build capacities and access to public policies.
