About the event

COP28 calls for ambitious mobilization of finance for climate action, including arrangements and a new fund for loss and damage. Through a high-level panel discussion, the event aims to launch a report focuses on Loss and Damage in agrifood systems. The session highlights the need for climate and agricultural data for enhancing climate finance and technical assistance to avert, minimise and address Loss and Damage in agrifood systems. Scalable solutions for reducing and managing risk will also be discussed.
