About the event

Family farmers and rural communities around the world are active agents of change and unsung heroes in restoring degraded land and improving soil health for increased climate resilience. The event will display participatory approaches such as farmer field school (FFS) promoting locally adapted agro-ecological investments by different actors, the Digital Agriculture Innovation Hubs mainstreaming digital agriculture in a global network and innovative, practical solutions brought forward via intergenerational collaboration by young family farmers in the context of the UN Decade of Family Farming (2019-2028), as hugely successful pathways empowering farmers, in particular of women and youth, and unleashing their innovation and creativity for climate and community action across many farming systems.
